Board & Train

Our Board ‘N’ Train immersion training program is the perfect option for the dog owner with a busy schedule that struggles to find time for training, or for people who travel a lot and want to take advantage of an educational alternative to boarding kennels and return home to a well-trained dog. This program is like a working vacation for your dog, where they’ll be in the care of a full-time trainer who is dedicated to meeting their needs and promoting their best behavior. The aim of this program is to turn your dog into the happiest, most confident, and most obedient version of themselves. At the end of their stay, we’ll provide you with the tools that you need to continue training and reinforcing your dog’s new skills at home, along with unlimited group class access for the future.

Board and Review:

If you are an existing client whose dog has previously graduated from one of our other programs, you are welcome to take advantage of our Board and Review program if you are taking a vacation or traveling for work. During their stay, your dog will receive the best care from our trainers who will introduce them to new playmates in a safe, supervised environment, provide daily exercise, and reinforce training. Call ahead to reserve a spot for your dog.

Dock Diving and Therapy Pool:

If you are interested in the sport of dock dogs, your dog is learning to swim or would benefit from hydrotherapy, our pool is ideal for you. Our saltwater filtered pool is ideal for dogs and safe for humans, so you can swim together if you like.

Pet Tech CPR and First Aid:

Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to an ill or injured animal. These skills could save the life of your beloved pet. This class is ideal for both pet owners and pet care professionals and is taught by our certified pet tech instructor.

Group Classes

Group classes are open to dogs who have completed our Board ‘N’ Train or Private Lessons program and provide a great way to continue your dog’s training in a fun, social setting and with some pretty severe distractions, namely other dogs. Basic Training:

Our basic training program is ideal for addressing some of the more challenging and frustrating issues that you and your dog are dealing with and is structured to be a shorter number of sessions. We will teach you how to put together a management system that allows you to live more harmoniously with your canine companion and gives your dog a chance to learn and understand the basics before moving onto any further training.

Lunch and Learn:

If your place of work is somewhere that’s frequented by dogs such as a boarding kennel, grooming salon, or veterinarian, let us come and buy you and your colleagues your lunch while sharing our strategies to improve safety while handling dogs at work. It’s a great chance to improve your knowledge of dogs and dog training as we discuss a number of important topics such as handling dog fights, dog behavior issues, bite prevention, and more.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Classes:

If you have just welcomed a new puppy into your family, we offer American Kennel Club (AKC) S.T.A.R. puppy classes. We will cover all aspects of getting your puppy started off on the right paw and help you teach your puppy to behave well from an early age, raising them to be an excellently-behaved dog in the future. Puppy training is ideal if you are already seeing tell-tale signs of problem behaviors that could worsen in the future, or if you want a certified trainer to support you and prepare your pup for additional future training. Puppies must be under the care of a vet to join. Bring a slip collar or 4-6ft leash and either treats or toys with you, depending on which one your pup prefers.
