Everyone loves having a well-trained K9 companion! Whether your dog requires some small adjustments to their behavior, or they need to be fully trained from the ground up, the professional trainers at Stayyy have got you covered. We will work with your dog on obedience, socialization, basic commands, and more. You let us know what you need help with, and we will make sure your dog gets the help they need!
Stayyy offers basic obedience training, private lessons, boarding training, group training, and more. We are also able to train dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. We don’t discriminate.
No matter what problem your dog is facing, we will provide the solution. It is our mission to help you to build the best relationship with your K9 companion possible!

Obedience Training

It’s very important for your dog to obey your commands. While it’s frustrating for you to give your pup a command only for them to ignore you, the problem can be much worse than that. A lack of obedience training can put your dog, other dogs, other people, and you in danger. If your dog doesn’t listen, they can jump up on someone and scratch them or even bite them. This, in turn, can lead to a lawsuit and/or having your pup be put down. They also may run into traffic, get in a fight with another dog, or otherwise get in trouble.
Even if they don’t hurt anyone, they may pee on the floor, eat off the table, and generally ignore you when you ask them to do things.
The obedience training provided by Stayyy focuses on the basics. We will ensure your dog knows their basic commands and will listen when asked to do something. This means less worry about your dog getting into trouble and a happier relationship between your pup and you.

The K9 Training Process

The Stayyy K9 training program is built around reinforcing good behaviors while eliminating bad habits. First, we drill the basic commands that all dogs should know. Even if your dog knows these commands, we will ensure they listen every time.

Some other things we focus on include:

  •       Mental stimulation
  •       Socialization
  •       Exercise
  •       Breaking bad habits

Some of the bad habits we approach head-on include:

  •       Leash pulling
  •       Jumping on people
  •       Stealing food from other animals
  •       Excessive barking
  •       Rushing in or out of the door
  •       Charging at other animals
  •       Eating off the counter

Proper socialization is an extremely important part of dog training. Whether your dog is a puppy or an adult, we make sure they have plenty of opportunities to meet with other dogs and learn more about being part of a pack.

Pack Leadership Training

In order for your dog to stay mentally balanced and happy, they need a pack leader to follow. If you don’t take on the position of pack leader, they will challenge you for the position. Some people don’t like the idea of creating a leader-follower relationship with their pups. Instead, they want to treat them as equals. The problem is your dog doesn’t see you as an equal. If they don’t see you taking on the leadership role, they’ll do it themselves. This, in turn, leads to poor listening and bad behavior. In order to ensure good behavior and obedience, you’ll need to learn to be the alpha of your pack.

This doesn’t mean you have to be mean or aggressive with your dog. It’s like being a parent to a child. You provide them with guidance and set boundaries. You then stick to these boundaries. By doing so, your dog will understand their position in the pack, and they will be much happier knowing you are in control.

Our Leadership Program

Being the pack leader doesn’t mean ruling through fear and intimidation. Instead, it’s about projecting calm, assertive, and confident energy. Dogs understand energy and demeanor. If you put out the right energy, they will see you as worthy of the leadership role and will respect you.
With the leadership program offered by Stayyy, you will learn to become the leader of your pack. We don’t just train your dog! We train you as well! We’ll show you how to project confidence so you can better communicate in your pup’s language.

Dog Boarding

Dog boarding can be just as stressful for the owner (if not more!) as the dog. It doesn’t have to be, though! The dog boarding program at Stayyy is designed to provide your dog with plenty of love and attention. Your dog will have lots of opportunities to burn off energy, socialize, and play. We can even train them while they are here!

Daily walks are extremely important, and we make sure to provide your dog with long, fun walks. They’ll get the chance to sniff around, go potty, and stretch their legs. If your dog has any special needs, our trainers are able to address those. We understand every dog is unique, and we will ensure your dog has their specific needs met. We also have three acres of land for your dog to run around on and play!

In order to board your pup, we’ll need current vaccination records and written proof of DHLPP and Bordetella before check-in. If your pup is over four months old, we’ll also need rabies vaccination records. This is for the protection of our staff and our other furry guests.

When you are preparing for your pup’s vacation, consider these things:

  •       A feeding schedule
  •       Bedding
  •       Your dog’s favorite food and treats
  •       Your pup’s favorite toys and       blankets
  •       Kennel crate (if properly trained)

We look forward to hosting your furry friend at our doggy hotel!

Group Training Classes

After your pup is properly trained, you can start taking them to our group training classes. Dogs are exposed to a controlled and monitored environment in which they are able to meet other dogs, socialize, and develop their pack mentality. To keep track of your dog’s progress and to continue their development, we increase the level of distraction over time.

If you have a puppy, you’ll want to make sure they are properly socialized. It’s important for them to grow up so they are friendly around other dogs. They also need to be well-trained in case an interaction with another dog doesn’t go well. At Stayyy, we make sure the puppies we train have great interactions with other dogs. If your dog is older, don’t worry! We can work with them as well.

Along with training at our facilities, we also offer group training classes at different dog-friendly locations like parks, beaches, and more. This allows them to explore and get used to different environments.

Puppy Training

Who doesn’t love puppies? They are adorable bundles of joy and love. With that said, they can also be a handful. They will often chew on things you don’t want them chewing, go to the bathroom wherever they feel, and listen when it’s convenient. They also are easily excitable and their “puppy brain” kicks in when they want to play. It’s extremely important for your puppy to learn better behaviors when they are young, as it can be much more difficult to break habits once your puppy gets older.

If you want a very well-trained dog that you can take anywhere and will listen to you no matter what, you’ll want to consider professional puppy training. For the best puppy training services, reach out to Stayyy. We’ll ensure your puppy has good boundaries and learns the commands and skills they need to succeed and thrive.

Preschool Puppy Training

For puppies as young as 12 weeks of age, we offer preschool puppy training. Once puppies have reached the age of 12 weeks, they are ready to begin socializing and are able to receive most of the training they need. Our preschool puppy training program includes:

  •       Scheduled and effective potty training
  •       Problem-solving education
  •       Scheduled feeding
  •       Obedience training
  •       Socialization

We ensure your puppy has the tools they need to grow up to be a happy and successful adult dog. They will also be socialized in a way where they can meet dogs of all breeds and sizes and have an enjoyable experience. Proper training will improve the quality of life of your puppy and you!

About Stayyy

Stayyy is a professional dog training organization made up of dog lovers that are experts in their fields. Everyone involved with Stayyy, from the leadership to the individual trainers, believes in our mission to help dogs and their owners.

The owner of Stayyy, Thomas Niemczewski started Stayyy after struggling to find a dog trainer for his dog Kropek (a giant schnauzer). He couldn’t believe how difficult it was to find the right training. With this in mind, he decided to found a company in which dog owners can find fantastic, knowledgeable trainers to help to meet the needs of their particular dogs.

The team at Stayyy understands the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the dogs we train. We also understand that the “behavioral issues” dogs have aren’t generally mental disorders—they are often due to the environment they are in and the leadership that is being displayed by the owner. If there is no pack leader for a pup to look up to, they will often act out and show a lack of respect. We teach dog owners the leadership tools that they need to become the head of their pack which, in turn, leads to massive improvements in the behaviors of their dogs in a short period of time.

We have designed our programs to help dogs to be the best pups they can be, and to help owners be the leaders that their dog needs them to be to create a healthy household.

Stayyy is committed to teaching dogs and their owners the tools they need to live in harmony.
